CNN’s senior media correspondent Brian Stelter recently spoke with a group of aspiring journalists about his mentor, the late David Carr. The Los Angeles Loyolan published some of Stelter’s comments made at the 31st annual ACP National College Journalism Convention.

Sheen Magazine profiled “Today” co-host and MSNBC host Tamron Hall, who is on the cover of their Spring Fashion and Business Savvy Woman issue.

I actually do my own makeup before every show, there isn’t a glam squad waiting on me each morning to arrive at work, it’s just something I enjoy doing.

Fox News Channel’s Greg Gutfeld is praised in the New Yorker as he leaves “Red Eye” to prepare for a new gig, hosting a weekend primetime show on FNC. Kelefa Sanneh of the New Yorker:

For all his seeming clumsiness, Gutfeld had a remarkable knack for saying ridiculous things without getting himself fired. (When one guest, a musician, set his electric guitar ablaze, Gutfeld was afraid that he might face punishment; he concluded, when no punishment came, that none of the executives stayed up late enough to watch his show).
