Imagining The Perfect Morning Show

By Brian

The AP’s Frazier Moore imagines the perfect morning show: “What do I want? A broadcast that’s smart, inquiring, sometimes even reflective. Witty at odd moments. Featuring a diversity of voices, and not just polar opposites in fruitless debate. A minimum of giggles and vacuous crosstalk. With stories no other show would think of, or if they did, would see fit to air. And no reality show refugees. What I want, I guess, is a weekday dose of CBS’ Sunday Morning. Even better: National Public Radio’s Morning Edition, long a fixture every weekday. If only it had a TV counterpart!
