> Feb. 12: “It will be a VERY interesting year ahead for Green”

“John is a longtime member of the ABC News family. He joined the news division in 1994 as a segment producer at “GMA.” Since that time, John has shown immense creativity and drive. In September 2004, John launched the weekend edition of “Good Morning America,” and under his leadership, the program has done excellent reporting while vastly growing its audience. As EP of weekend “GMA,” John has guided his staff through various breaking news events, including the hanging of Saddam Hussein, the Asian tsunami, and the death of Pope John Paul II. Most recently, John with Rudy Bednar took the lead for our division-wide earth day reporting, and we look forward to many more innovative projects from John in the near future.

Please join me in congratulating John on this well-deserved promotion.”
