Fox News Channel had the 5th most-watched show on cable last week: the GOP debate last Monday. Only MTV’s “Jersey Shore,” two episodes of History Channel’s “Pawn Stars” (which aired head-to-head with the debate) and the Lifetime movie about Drew Peterson were watched by more viewers.
The GOP debate and coverage of the South Carolina Primary Saturday night made Fox News the #2 network in primetime last week, only behind USA. CNN was #15 and MSNBC was #24.
In Total Day viewers, Fox news was #3, CNN was #27 and MSNBC #29.
