Rich Edson and Adam Shapiro are the latest on-air hires at FBN, both joining as Washington D.C.-based correspondents, the network has announced. Washington Bureau Chief Bruce Becker says Edson and Shapiro will “contribute to our coverage of Capitol Hill and other national business topics.”

Shapiro joins FBN after anchoring and reporting with WNBC-TV. He was previously an anchor at Cleveland’s WEWS-TV, a Chicago-based FNC correspondent, and a freelance reporter for WFLD-TV and WBBM-TV in Chicago.

Edson was previously a freelance reporter with Reuters in D.C. Prior to Reuters, he was a government/political reporter for WTGS-TV and WJCL-TV in Savannah, Georgia.
