The NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams was the #1 evening newscast last week, averaging 460,000 more viewers than ABC’s World News Tonight. ABC came in first place in the 25-54 demo though: “Despite lower coverage on Thursday (92%) due to an NBA Game, World News Tonight outperformed Nightly News by 20,000 Adults 25-54. The ABC News broadcast ranked first among demo viewers on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday,” a press release says. Here are the numbers, provided by ABC, for total viewers:
