In an extended interview Wednesday night with Anderson Cooper, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump took a shot at the CNN anchor, saying “the people don’t trust you, and the people don’t trust the media.”
Trump was apparently offended by Cooper’s mention of a Quinnipiac poll that showed Trump faring poorly among general election voters in key states. “You only want to talk about the negative,” Trump said before saying “60 to 70 percent of the political media is really, really dishonest.”
