Diane v. Matt

Following up on yesterday’s post:

One e-mailer says: “Diane Sawyer‘s visit to Syria demonstrates she is the only serious journalist out of all the morning show anchors. While Diane interviews the President of Syria, Matt is interviewing Miss USA about life in rehab. ‘Nuff said.”

And another e-mailer says: “Someone [at ABC] needs a geography lesson. Matt recently traveled to Russia for an exclusive interview with President Putin and to Israel for an exclusive interview with Prime Minister Olmert (which Diane did not get when she was there at the same time). He also had the most recent morning show interview with President Bush, from inside the Oval Office.”
