Confirmed: Keteyian Becomes Chief Investigative Correspondent For CBS News

Armen Keteyian, an eight-time Emmy Award-winning journalist, will join CBS News as Chief Investigative Correspondent,” Sean McManus announced today. “The appointment is effective March 6.”

Keteyian will head a new investigative unit at CBS News, reporting primarily for the CBS Evening News. McManus says: “Armen is a smart, aggressive and tenacious reporter, and investigative journalism is in his blood. This new unit is a significant step towards increasing the number of investigative stories CBS News breaks and will bolster and complement the work currently being done by other correspondents.”
