Sporting a brand new set, CBS’s Face the Nation moderated by Margaret Brennan was the most-watched Sunday public affairs show on May 13. Compared to the same week in 2017, FTN was +6 percent in total viewers, but it was also -5 percent among adults 25-54.
ABC’s This Week with George Stephanopoulos was the No. 1 Sunday show of the week in the key A25-54 demo, and defeated CBS in the category for the 7th consecutive Sunday. This Week also managed to post year-over-year audience growth not just in total viewers (+3 percent) but also in the aforementioned demo (+5 percent). Martha Raddatz anchored this particular broadcast, and she interviewed national security adviser John Bolton.
Fox News Sunday hosted by Chris Wallace on Fox broadcast was -6 percent in total viewers and -7 percent in the demo versus last year. The program’s trio of cable replays posted 2.65 million total viewers and 509,000 demo viewers. Combined with the original 9 a.m. broadcast, the May 13 edition of FNS posted 3.98 million total viewers and 886,000 demo viewers.
