NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt has a winning streak on its hands. For the fourth straight week it was the No. 1 across the board: among total viewers and the two younger demos, including the one that matters to advertisers of news (A25-54).
All three broadcasts showed growth vs. the same week last year. Nightly was up +5 in viewers and +3 percent in the demo; World News Tonight with David Muir was up +7 percent in viewers and up +1 in the demo while CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley was up +2 percent and +1 percent, respectively.
Due to NFL football, Nightly News is based on a four-day average (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday). CBS and ABC are based on five-day averages.
