NYT Broadcast: Web Designer/Multimedia Producer

The primary focus of the Web Designer / Multimedia Producer is to design
and develop Internet sales related creative elements for online campaigns
for the websites of the New York Times Broadcast Media Group (NYTBMG). The
ideal candidate is a problem solver and self-starter who thrives in a
collaborative work environment. In addition, the Multi-Media Producer will
work with stations to develop, implement and enforce design, navigation and
site architecture standards. On a daily basis, h/she will produce
web-design elements and flash-based and other interactive applications to
support the Group’s online sales efforts. H/she will review design
elements and consult with stations to ensure high design standards are
followed; take leadership role during NYTBMG website redesigns; work with
content management vendor to identify future site architecture and layout
enhancements; design user interfaces and interactive information products
from concept to finish, participating in all levels of development process;
design promotional banners (static and animated), special sections/splash
pages and promotional materials. The ideal candidate should possess at
least two years’ experience and a degree or equivalent experience. An
