Web Channel Producer, WNCN-TV

NBC 17 Web Channel Producer will write and edit text and video
content for topic-specific local news web pages. Duties include
researching , planning and producing coverage of news, events and
topics of local interest for specific geographical or topical web
channel. Seek content from internal and external sources to create
locally relevant coverage of assigned subjects. Edit video from embed
and broadcast reporters, gather and write companion information and
produce and post final web page product. Frequently update and
refresh web copy and video to meet deadlines in 24-hour news
environment. Coordinate with broadcast producers to create consistent
coverage across platforms. Work with Web Manager, Multimedia Content
Coordinators and Embed Reporter to plan brand-targeted daily and
future coverage.

Required Skills:

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Web
producing or broadcast producing experience preferred. Must have
basic knowledge of HTML.

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s Level Degree

Minimum Experience:

2 years Broadcast producer and/or web producer experience
