Succession Season 4 and 5 Other Trailers You Missed

Prepare for a trailer roundup with HBO’s Succession Season 4; Netflix’s 1899, Stutz and Bardo; Hulu’s Stars at Noon; and Prime Video’s The People We Hate at the Wedding.

The Roy family is back for more backstabbing and family dysfunction in Succession Season 4. The logline reads, “The sale of media conglomerate Waystar Royco to tech visionary Lukas Matsson (Alexander Skarsgård) moves ever closer. The prospect of this seismic sale provokes existential angst and familial division among the Roys as they anticipate what their lives will look like once the deal is completed. A power struggle ensues as the family weighs up a future where their cultural and political weight is severely curtailed.” Season 4 is slated for a 2023 release.

Netflix’s 1899 premieres on Nov. 17. When mysterious events change the course of an immigrant ship headed for New York in 1899, a mind-bending riddle unfolds for its bewildered passengers. The cast includes Emily Beecham, Aneurin Barnard, Andreas Pietschmann, Isabella Wei, Gabby Wong and Yann Gael.

Stutz comes to Netflix on Nov. 14. One of the world’s leading psychiatrists, Phil Stutz has helped countless patients over 40 years, including world-class creatives, business leaders and therapy skeptics. Directed by Jonah Hill, the film explores Stutz’s life and walks the viewer through his signature visualization exercises, The Tools.

Academy-award-winning director Alejandro G. Iñárritu helms Bardo, False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths, streaming on Netflix on Dec. 16 and a limited theatrical release on Nov. 4. The film is set against the intimate and moving journey of Silverio, a renowned Mexican journalist and documentary filmmaker living in Los Angeles, who, after being named the recipient of a prestigious international award, is compelled to return to his native country, unaware that this simple trip will push him to an existential limit.

Stars at Noon premieres on Hulu on Oct. 28. A young American journalist (Margaret Qualley) stranded in present-day Nicaragua seduces an enigmatic Englishman (Joe Alwyn) who seems like her best chance of escape. She soon realizes, though, that their torrid affair has only put her in more danger.

The People We Hate at The Wedding streams on Prime Video on Nov. 18. Based on the best-selling novel by Grant Ginder, family tensions ramp up among siblings in the week leading up to their half-sister’s wedding in the country. The cast includes Kristen Bell, Allison Janney, Ben Platt, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Annie Murphy and Dustin Milligan.
