Last night, the Democratic debate on CNN topped the Nielsen Social charts with 920,000 tweets, sent by 181,000 people. According to Nielsen the most tweeted minute was at 10:07 p.m. ET, when 6,600 tweets were sent after Bernie Sanders discussed his energy proposals and stance on global warming.
The top mentioned candidate of the night was “HillaryClinton,” who was mentioned in 163,500 tweets about the event, while“BernieSanders” was mentioned in 155,100 tweets.
