PBS Distribution and the WNET Group are launching new FAST (free ad supported streaming TV) channels on streaming media player Plex.
The lineup will include shows like PBS Antiques Roadshow, Julia Child and Antiques Road Trip from PBS Distribution and PBS Nature from the WNET Group. “We are thrilled to bring these popular shows to Plex viewers, expanding the ways fans can watch public media content and discover a library of new favorites.” Said John Suydam, SVP Business Development, PBS Distribution in a statement.
Plex offers free entertainment, including over 50,000 free, on-demand titles, movies, and shows paired with the ability to discover where any title is streaming, and create a personalized, universal watchlist of all of the movie and TV shows users care to see across all of their streaming services. Plex has partnered with Warner Bros. Discovery, NBCUniversal, Paramount, AMC, A+E, BBC, Lionsgate, Hallmark Media, E.W. Scripps, A24, Relativity, Hearst, and Crackle.
