Netflix Renews All of Us Are Dead for Season 2

Technically, not all of them are dead.

Netflix has renewed the South Korean coming-of-age zombie apocalypse horror series All of Us Are Dead for a second season.

Based on the 2009 webtoon Now at Our School, the series follows a group of enterprising students at Hyosan High as they fight a zombie outbreak while trapped within the overrun halls of the institution—one that becomes ground zero after a grieving science teacher tries to resurrect his son.

On Netflix’s daily Top 10 list in the United States, the series reached No. 1 on its seventh day of availability. All of Us Are Dead debuted in the top 10 most-watched non-English TV series in 91 countries and stayed there for two weeks after its release. In its first 10 days, it generated 361 million viewing hours.
