Apply TV+’s Israeli spy thriller Tehran is back, and things are about to get a whole lot more dangerous. Glenn Close has joined the cast for Season 2, which will return on Friday, May 6 with two episodes; additional episodes will drop each Friday through June 17.

In the official teaser for Season 2, Close’s Marjan Montazeri tells Mossad agent Tamar Rabinyan, played by Niv Sultan, “Now that we’re working together, my life depends on the decisions you make. Unless we are completely transparent with each other, it will end very badly for us.”

And based on the car chases, gunfire, explosions, and all around espionage shown in the 38-second trailer, we imagine Close’s character isn’t being hyperbolic.
