Wilmington, NC stations hit the big switch at noon today, becoming the first market in the country to move from analog to digital broadcasting. No word yet how many viewers were left in the dark, but one of the station’s general manager urged the industry not to judge the switch on the number of phone calls but on the lessons learned.
