Today’s roundup includes Disney+’s The Bad Batch Season 2, FX’s The Bear, Paramount+’s The Only and Prime Video’s The Summer I Turned Pretty.

Disney+ released the teaser trailer for the upcoming second season of the animated series Star Wars: The Bad Batch. The footage came during a Star Wars Celebration panel that included executive producer Brad Rau, head writer Jennifer Corbett and story editor Matt Michnovetz. Season 2 finds The Bad Batch crossing paths with friends and enemies, new and familiar, as they take on new and dangerous adventures.

Season 2 contains 16 episodes and will premiere this fall.

Jeremy Allen White (Shameless) stars in the upcoming FX comedy series The Bear. White plays Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto, a young chef from the upscale dining world who moves back to Chicago to run the family sandwich shop after a tragic death in the family. Carmy must balance the harsh realities of running a small business, his strong-willed kitchen staff and strained family relations while dealing with his brother’s suicide. The Bear will stream on Hulu starting June 23.

The Only tells the life story of U.S. women’s soccer goalkeeper Brianna Scurry. The documentary explores the trials and challenges of Scurry, who stood alone as the only Black starter and only openly gay player. The Only premieres on Paramount+ on July 12.

The official trailer for The Summer I Turned Pretty features This Love (Taylor’s Version) from Taylor Swift. The seven-episode drama takes inspiration from Jenny Han’s (To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before) best-selling novel. The series is a multigenerational exploration of love between mothers and their children and the power of female friendships. The series premieres on June 17 on Prime Video.
