In honor of World Music Day, Disney’s streaming platform, Disney+, will livestream a unique performance of the Epcot nighttime spectacular at Walt Disney World on Tuesday, June 21.
Harmonious Live! celebrates the transcendent power of music with a medley of classic Disney music reinterpreted by a diverse group of 240 artists from all over the world, all performed by a live orchestra and ensemble of international vocalists. Tony Award-winning performer and actress Idina Menzel (Frozen, Frozen 2) hosts the event, with special guest Auli’i Cravalho (Moana) joining the festivities as well.
During the event, audiences can experience magical worlds inspired by Moana, Aladdin, Coco, The Lion King, Mulan and other famous stories using a creative blend of floating big screens, synchronized flowing fountains, lights, pyrotechnics and lasers. Harmonious Live! mixes familiar Disney music and stories together in new ways, with colorful animations and effects that dance and transform. The soundtrack embraces numerous languages as the show brings cultures worldwide.
Harmonious Live! will stream in the United States and Canada at 9 p.m. ET on Disney+. Following the livestream, the event will be available on Disney+ in the U.S. and Canada for subscribers.
