Disney+ Reportedly Developing WandaVision Spinoff Series With Paul Bettany

By Jessica Lerner

A second WandaVision spinoff series starring Paul Bettany‘s Vision is being developed for Disney+.

Called Vision Quest, the possible series will follow Bettany’s Vision as he attempts to reclaim his humanity and memory. Even though the focus is on Vision, Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) could make an appearance.

Deadline states the series is being referred to as the White Vision project in reference to the version of Vision that S.W.O.R.D. built to kill Wanda and Vision at the conclusion of WandaVision.

The series is directed by Jac Schaeffer, the creator, writer and executive producer of the first WandaVision spinoff, Agatha: Coven of Chaos. In the upcoming spinoff, Kathryn Hahn reprises her role as the electrifying and scene-stealing villain Agatha Harkness.

Heartstopper’s Joe Locke joins Hanh in the Marvel series, though the exact plot details have yet to be revealed. Emma Caufield also reprises her role as Dottie.

Bettany implied last year that fans could see Vision again in the future.

“We really found a lane for ourselves, and this was different in tone from those movies. But you never know with Marvel, whether you’re done, or not,” he told Deadline. “So I don’t want to call it the end yet. This was one of the most creative experiences of my life, joyful and free, making this show. To see it embraced by an audience the way it was, was so wonderful.”
