Discovery+ Available on Prime Video in Canada

Discovery+ is now available on Prime Video in Canada.

Users will have access to Discovery+’s library of 60,000+ episodes of original series, which includes HGTV, Food Network, TLC, ID, OWN, Travel Channel, Discovery Channel, Animal Planet and Magnolia Network. The subscription also offers content from A&E, The History Channel and Lifetime.

“We are thrilled to add Prime Video to the robust list of platforms that Discovery+ is available on in Canada, and provide Prime members direct access to the definitive real-life streaming service,” Sarah Bergman, svp, distribution at Warner Bros. Discovery, said in a statement. “Prime Video has long been a valued partner, and as our relationship with them continues to expand, we are very excited to be able to reach more of their customers across the globe.”

Recently, Discovery+ launched its offline downloads feature. Subscribers in the U.S. now have access to offline downloads while traveling, commuting or without an internet connection. This update follows the launch of download capabilities in Brazil.

In addition, Discovery+ is now available on DirectTV. DirecTV and DirecTV Stream subscribers will have access to the non-fiction subscription channel, which includes the full and comprehensive library of 70,000+ episodes of original series and library content from the Warner Bros. Discovery portfolio of networks.

The ad-free version of Discovery+ is available on Prime Video for CAD 6.99 per month plus applicable taxes.
