Netflix’s Black Mirror will return for Season 6 with new episodes, according to Variety.

The news outlet reports that “a new anthology series of Black Mirror is shaping up, and casting now is underway.”

While details about the episodes are presently being kept under wraps, Variety reports that the sixth season of the sci-fi dystopian drama will have more episodes than Season 5, which debuted in June 2019 and comprised of just three installments.

The latest season is reported to have a greater cinematic scale, with each episode being treated as its own film, per Variety. This is consistent with recent seasons of Black Mirror, which included episodes that were typically longer than an hour and featured exceptionally high production standards.

Season 5 of Black Mirror starred Miley Cyrus, Anthony Mackie, Andrew Scott, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Topher Grace.
