VH1 pulled out all of the stops for the ‘Love & Hip Hop’ Wedding, which aired on Monday night. After nearly 10 years together, Yandy Smith and Mendeecees Harris tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony.
The red carpet was streamed via Periscope, and other activations included a #LHHWeddingRSVP hashtag sweepstakes and giving viewers the change to pick the dress Yandy would wear down the aisle (using #YandyRoyalQueen or #YandyBlingPrincess).
The wedding was the #1 most social show on all of cable TV (excluding sports) and generated 196,000 tweets by 63,000 unique authors.
