Brazil’s annual entertainment expo, Comic Con Experience 2022, concluded with plenty of trailers being unveiled during the four-day event.
CCXP included trailers for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, but here are a few trailers that flew under the radar.
Taking place in the elven Golden Era, Netflix’s The Witcher: Blood Origin tells the story of seven strangers who join together to fight an unstoppable empire. Though they hail from warring clans, Éile and Fjall must learn to trust one another if they have any hope of leading this band of outcasts on their quest to topple the Continent’s oppressors. But, when gateways to other worlds are opened and a power-hungry sage unleashes a new weapon, the Seven realize they must create a monster to defeat one.
Prime Video’s Gen V is an R-rated series that explores the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities. The series is part college show, part Hunger Games.
In Paramount+’s Teen Wolf: The Movie, a full moon rises in Beacon Hills, and with it, a terrifying evil emerges. The wolves are howling once again, calling for the return of Banshees, Werecoyotes, Hellhounds, Kitsunes and every other shapeshifter in the night. But only a werewolf like Scott McCall, no longer a teenager yet still an Alpha, can gather both new allies and reunite trusted friends to fight back against what could be the most powerful and deadliest enemy they’ve ever faced.
HBO’s The Last of Us is based on the 2013 video game of the same name. The series will follow Joel (Pedro Pascal), a smuggler tasked with escorting the teenage Ellie (Bella Ramsey) across a post-apocalyptic United States. It will feature Gabriel Luna as Joel’s younger brother Tommy, Merle Dandridge as resistance leader Marlene and Anna Torv as Joel’s smuggler partner Tess.
Netflix’s Alice in Borderland follows Arisu (Kento Yamazaki) and Usagi (Tao Tsuchiya) as they hope to return to their original world by making it through a variety of deadly games. But even if all the cards are in order, they may never make it back home.
