Samantha Shannon has signed a deal with Bloomsbury. She plans to write a novella set in the same universe as the Bone Season series entitled The Pale Dreamer.

Drawing on real characters from the Old Bailey archives, The Pale Dreamer shows us where Jaxon Hall and his gang, the Seven Seals, all began.”
Thus far, Shannon has written and published two of the three novels from this trilogy: The Bone Season (2013) and The Mime Order (2015). The publisher will release The Pale Dreamer novella in eBook format on Dec. 6. It will also come out in print as extra content in a new paperback edition of The Bone Season; the new paperback will be published in Feb. 2017.
