New York bookstore Revolution Books is trying to raise $30,000 by Friday at midnight (ET), to help fund its move to Harlem next month.

Donations to this $30,000 Indiegogo drive will go towards the immediate expenses of renovating the new storefront at 437 Malcolm X Boulevard/Lenox Avenue. This Indiegogo campaign is part of Revolution Books’ larger multi-pronged $150,000 emergency fundraising effort, which includes reaching out to people with more money for big donations, and organizing fundraising events.
The non-profit book store lost its space on West 26th Street back in May and has been doing fundraisers ever since in order to help fund the move. The bookseller found a new location in July.
