I’m not entirely sure what to make of this morning’s item in Rush and Malloy suggesting the Goldmans might’ve approached Judith Regan about resurrecting If I Did It after they obtained the publication rights last month, “despite the family’s raging against her for developing it at HarperCollins.” Because the obvious question is: How exactly would they have expected her to publish it, given that she’s between book jobs? Unless there’s a hidden comeback component to those “deal-making trips to China, Brazil and Italy” we haven’t heard about yet. (via FishbowlNY)
