A play adaptation of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts One and Two hits the London stage in July and today Pottermore.com shared its first photos of the actors in character.
The portrait (pictured above) reveals Jamie Parker as Harry Potter, Poppy Miller as his wife Ginny, and Sam Clemmett as their son Albus Severus. The play was written by playwright Jack Thorne. It is based on an original story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany. The show premieres in London’s West End on July 30, 2016.
Scholastic will release the Special Rehearsal Edition of the eighth Harry Potter story, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts One and Two in print in the U.S. and Canada at the end of July. Scholastic will also publish the print edition of the script in the U.S. and Little, Brown Book Group will publish the text in the UK. Pottermore will publish the e-book edition of the script.
