Disney Celebrates Queen Elizabeth II’s 90th Birthday With a New Winnie-the-Pooh Story

This year marks the 90th anniversary of the publication of Winnie-the-Pooh written by A.A. Milne and illustrated by E.H. Shepard. The Telegraph reports that Disney released a new Winnie the Pooh story to honor this special anniversary and the 90th birthday of Queen Elizabeth II.

Jane Riordan wrote the story. Mark Burgess created the illustrations. TIME reports that the piece, entitled “Winnie-the-Pooh and the Royal Birthday,” features appearances from Piglet, Eyore, , Christopher Robin, the Queen herself, and young Prince George.
