George R.R. Martin attended his first Super Bowl last night. The author told the Associated Press that while he is not a big football fan, he did write a TV pilot a while back that featured an alien landing at the Super Bowl.
The show was never filmed, but the author has plans to turn it into a graphic novel. In the meantime, he’s got work to do for the sixth installment of A Song of Ice and Fire.
