For Judith Regan, Impossible is Nothing

By Carmen

As the ramifications of Judith Regan‘s firing reverberate throughout the publishing industry, many are left to wonder what will become of the imprint’s spring and summer seasons – as well as projects under contract or whose contracts were about to be signed. In fact, several sources tell GalleyCat that just before Regan was shown the door, she had just made an offer for one of the Internet’s newest insta-celebrities to detail his exploits and show the world that “success is a mental transformation, not just an external event.” One source revealed Regan’s impetus for taking on the multi-talented, Yale-educated polymath whose accomplishments have astonished thousands of YouTube viewers and blog addicts: “women will buy this because they want to fuck him!”

A pity, then, that the book will never see the light of day. Because as both Regan and Aleksey Vayner know, to be successful you must know exactly what you want to achieve.

(This post obviously has nothing whatsoever to do with Tuesday’s Rocky Balboa mashup, nor with amusing email volleys with those more skilled at Photoshop.)
