If you have a love for academia and books, listen up. Emerald Group Publishing is in need of a new acquisitions editor to help secure partnerships with member organizations around the world.
In this role, you’ll assist the vice president of publishing for the Americas in acquiring quality books and journals content, while managing partnership and acquisitions targets. You’ll attend conferences and meetings in order to develop a network of key contacts and broaden your understanding of the market.
To be considered, you’ll need at least one year of acquisitions experience and two years of developing or managing academic journals and/or books content. You should be well-versed in working with global academic or trade organizations, as well as academia editors and authors. Detail-oriented self-starters should apply here.
