It just got easier to read on the Kindle. Amazon has updated its Kindle for Android app adding new features that make reading easier and more interactive on Android devices.

The update includes the ability to search the full text of Kindle books by voice or text, as well as the ability to look up words and phrases in Wikipedia.

The new app can also lock screen orientation in portrait or landscape mode, as well as look up information about a book on social networking site Shelfari. Users can also add notes and highlights books. The app will be updated automatically for existing users.
