Amazon Reveals Winner of Spanish Language Literary Prize

61gUlTHxp3LAna Ballabriga and David Zaplana have won Amazon’s third annual Indie Literary Prize for Spanish language for  title Ningún Escocés Verdadero.

The prize is awarded to original unpublished Spanish-language works from around the globe submitted through Amazon’s KDP Select self-publishing platform. More than 1,400 titles were entered during the submissions phase in July and August. The most entrants came from Spain and Mexico, followed by Venezuela, the U.S. and Argentina.

Ningún Escocés Verdadero is about a private investigator specializing in art-related crimes that is working for the Spanish Bishop of Murcia to search for the Cross of Caravaca which was stolen in 1934. The title will be published worldwide in Spanish by Amazon Publishing. An English-language edition will also be published globally by AmazonCrossing.
