Showtime has picked up a series co-written by New York Times reporter Andrew Ross Sorkin, the network announced on Tuesday. Sorkin famously chronicled the most recent financial crisis in his tome Too Big to Fail. Given the dramatic nature of the crash, the book was adapted into a critically acclaimed telepic starring Giamatti as Federal Reserve chairman Ben Bernanke by HBO.
