FBI Recovers Tom Brady Super Bowl Jersey, Found in Possession of Journalist

Fox Sports NFL reporter Jay Glazer Monday morning tweeted that the missing jersey worn by Tom Brady during Super Bowl LI has been recovered on foreign soil. (Adweek)

The NFL announced that the Super Bowl keepsake, valued at $500,000, had been found in the possession of a journalist. (Poynter)

In a statement, the league said, “Also retrieved during the ongoing investigation was the jersey Brady wore in the Patriots’ victory in Super Bowl XLIX against the Seattle Seahawks in 2015. The items were found in the possession of a credentialed member of the international media. Due to the ongoing investigation, we would refer any additional questions to the FBI.” (Variety)
