Y&R Promotes 4 to Executive Creative Director Roles

Y&R promoted Nathalie Brown (pictured, left), Eric Glickman, Margot Owett  (pictured, right) and Fern Cohen to roles as executive creative directors.

Since joining Y&R New York in September of 2011, Brown has served as a vice president, group creative director, working with brands including Cirque du Soleil and MD Anderson while currently leading the Office Depot account. Before joining Y&R, she spent over ten years with McCann, most recently as senior vice president, creative director.

As creative director, Glickman leads creative for Pepperidge Farm, and has helped shape its Goldfish brand, extending the breadth of its content to include social media, gaming, CG animation and GIFs made with Goldfish crackers. Glickman is an agency veteran of some 28 and a half years, having first joined Y&R in 1990.

Cohen and Owett are a longtime creative team that first joined Y&R as creative directors in October of 2012. Prior to that, the duo spent over 11 years with Saatchi & Saatchi and briefly freelanced.

“Nathalie, Eric, Fern, and Margot have each earned this recognition through the sheer force of their creativity, smarts, humor, and courage to tread in uncharted territory,” Y&R North America CCO Leslie Sims said in a statement. “We’re fortunate to have such a deep bench of talent and we all can’t wait to see what they accomplish next.”
