Y&L Named AOR for Scotts LawnService

Did you miss me? A little bit? Well, too bad because I’m back (smiley face with tongue sticking out) so let’s get down to business. Indianapolis agency Young & Laramore, they of Stanley Steemer fame, was handed national AOR duties for Scotts LawnService and as a result, will be responsible for the brand’s national advertising including radio, print, OOH, direct mail and digital. Seeing as Y&L is quite familiar with home services clients-Angie’s List, the aforementioned Steemer and Brizo Faucets being among those in the agency’s portfolio–Scotts  found an ideal partner. In a statement, the brand’s VP of marketing, Keith Baeder, says, “As we look to take Scotts LawnService to the next level, we were attracted to Y&L’s method of brand development and deep expertise in the home services category. We are excited to be partnering together.”

There was no review for the LawnService business and Y&L isn’t commenting on Scotts’ other agency relationships (billings aren’t being disclosed either). But Team Detroit handles planning and ML Rogers has handled creative for the brand’s MiracleGro line.
