Jesus, Mary and Joseph would definitely have something to say about this tidbit. Wonkette’s not-so-subtle disdain for Sen. John McCain, is clearly noticeable when you roll your mouse over the image of him that’s up (see above screenshot). When you scroll over the image, an alt tag pops up that reads, “Kill him”.
So, Wonkette, are you guys pro or anti McCain? Because according to NewsMeat, Sirius CEO Mel Karmazin is (or was — he made campaign contributions to McCain in 1998 and 1999. He hasn’t made contributions for this year’s race, so who knows how the guy votes these days. Oh and by the way, Sirius is a Wonkette advertiser.
OK, we don’t think they really care. It’s a blog, but just sayin’ — is this really necessary? Appropriate? As Tribble points out, it’s probably illegal.
