Just over a year ago, Wieden + Kennedy launched its first campaign for TurboTax. Twelve months later, “It’s Amazing What You’re Capable Of” is still going strong, and the agency released part of a new batch of “New Year’s in Mardi Gras”-themed ads as part of a series set to culminate with a minute-long spot during Super Bowl XLIX.
As W+K tells us in the press release, this work builds on last year’s in reminding Americans that the very act of doing your own taxes is, indeed, somewhat amazing.
The first “Choose Your Own Adventure”-style :60 spot aired during the Rose Bowl on New Year’s Day:

Finally, a spot titled, simply, “Mardi Gras Loud Noise”:
Creative will air during Sunday’s Golden Globes as well as the Super Bowl. The campaign will run throughout tax season.
