Every time we try to get out, we get pulled back in. G2 has confirmed that Whitney Browne, who was director of UX strategy at the agency for the better half of a year, has left the agency. From what we’re hearing, he’s headed to BBDO.
Sources from the latter camp couldn’t confirm the hiring at press time, but according to a spy, “promised digital work never materialized” for Browne at G2 and “there’s not much for a Director of UX to do at a direct marketing agency.” Browne joined G2 last year from Big Spaceship, where he was senior user experience strategist. Prior to that, he was an ACD at Organic and had a role as information architect at HBO.
Update: Yep, sources confirm he’s headed to BBDO in a matter of weeks.
