While the press release has yet to go out, we hear that today brings news of some changes in the management hierarchy at KBS+ in New York.

In short, the agency now has two co-presidents: Matt Powell and Jonah Bloom.

Both have spent a few years on the KBS+ roster: Powell joined the agency as director of new business in 2008 before ascending to the CIO position in 2012. Bloom, who worked on the editorial side before entering the agency world (including more than seven years at AdAge), joined KBS+ in 2011 as head of digital strategy and co-founder of its “content labs” unit before becoming chief strategy officer in summer 2012.

Word is that both Powell and Bloom will simultaneously hold the title of president while continuing to perform their given duties as CIO and CSO. You may note that these moves come just over a month after the appointment of former KBS+ chairman/CEO Lori Senecal to the office of president/CEO of the larger MCD Partner Network. She was replaced by Ed Brojerdi.

In other KBS+ staffing news, we hear that Christine Prins — who spent several years with the agency in its growth/new business department — has left to accept an unnamed role at Saatchi & Saatchi New York.

Updates as they arrive.
