-Samsung Electronics America celebrated the launch of its 2024 TV and audio lineup during its annual Unbox & Discover event. Joined by Molly Shannon and Tim Meadows, Samsung debuted a nostalgia-inspired, spoof marketing video, “Best in the House,” a faux sitcom with a ’90s sensibility from Quality Meats Creative. “Some of my favorite memories of working in TV and film are from the ’90s—cue Mary Katherine Gallagher. That’s why I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to collaborate with Samsung on this 90s-inspired campaign—and reunite with Tim,” said Shannon in a statement. “It’s really astonishing how innovations like these new Samsung TVs can even upscale older content into incredible picture quality. Every detail is transformed, from the butterfly clips I wore on set, to the retro ’90s living room we set up.”
