-Deutsch LA opened up 10,000 square feet of new office space and had Jimmy Cliff play at the office all while drinking Red Stripe this week. link

-Shaq introduces himself as the newest analyst on TNT’s “Inside the NBA”  (above). Welcome back, big fella. link

-New York VFX/editorial house Fluid opened up an in-house audio post studio called Mr. Bronx and added David Wolfe as lead mixer/engineer. link

-Since it is the season after all, here’s a list of rejected agency holiday card concepts. link

-McCann/eBay alum Abby Spatz joined MEC North America as managing partner and client leader on the agency’s Chanel account in the U.S.

-Jayme Frieder was named advertising director, North America, for TED.com.
