-Partners+Napier took inspiration from flash fiction (and specifically the urban legend around Ernest Hemingway and the six word story) in its latest campaign for Highmark (video above). Thankfully, the stories aren’t as depressing as that one.

-Former JWT North America and CPB CCO and Barton F. Graf executive creative director Jeff Benjamin joined independent agency Tombras as its first CCO.

-IPG made a series of three significant executive leadership promotions, naming Philippe Krakowsky as COO, Daryl Lee as CEO for IPG Medibrands and Eileen Kiernan as global CEO of UM.

Cleve Gibbon joined Wunderman Thompson as chief technology officer.

-Publicis Sapient hired Accenture veteran Kristi Erickson as global chief talent officer.

-The FDA says that Juul illegally marketed cigarettes, warned the company to stop presenting their products as safer alternatives to cigarettes.

-Havas won TripAdvisor’s global media account.
