This Freelancer Education Platform Joined AgencySpy to Discuss How to Navigate the Industry in the Time of Coronavirus

By Doug Zanger

In hopes of being of service to the people of the agency world, AgencySpy is trying something on Periscope. Each day, we’re looking to get industry folks on the platform to simply talk about what they’re seeing, hearing and, most importantly, learning during the coronavirus crisis. We don’t have any fancy packaging yet, but we may have stumbled upon a name for the program: “How’s It Going?”

Indeed, we’re genuinely interested in how everyone is doing and would like to be a useful resource … or even just a place to vent.

Earlier today, we spoke with Aaron James and Andrew Dickson, the co-founders of Mt. Freelance, an educational platform for freelancers—and also a helpful resource for anyone in the agency community as well. We covered quite a few topics, including how people can use this time to update their own marketing/portfolio sites, what to think about during this rough time, how to prepare when things start ramping up and more.

As an added bonus, James and Dickson are offering up Mt. Freelance’s intro videos and the entire Level 1 course for free. We encourage you to take advantage of this.

Meantime, stay safe. If you’d like to be on the list of consideration to join us on Periscope, please DM us at @AgencySpy or email us directly at agencyspymail@protonmail.com.

You can also use those destinations if you’re seeing/hearing about any shadiness/nefarious practices by agencies. We are AgencySpy, and it’s important to keep ’em honest … especially now.
