Susan Machtiger Appointed President of Ogilvy Consulting for North America

Ogilvy has promoted Susan Machtiger to president of Ogilvy Consulting for North America. She most recently served as managing director for brand innovation and growth platforms.

In her new expanded role, Machtiger will oversee a team of analysts, strategists, and consultants who will collaborate with leaders across the region to grow value for clients. Ogilvy Consulting’s advisory services span business growth and innovation strategy, business transformation, brand and marketing innovation, sustainability, behavioral science and futuring.

Machtiger brings over two decades of experience building brands, with expertise in brand strategy, purpose, innovation, growth planning and integrated marketing communications.

Machtiger joined Ogilvy Consulting at its founding a decade ago and helped build the business into a global success. Throughout her career, she has led major initiatives and transformations to instill large global brands with new relevance in the marketplace. She has also partnered with venture-backed and private equity-funded companies to create new brands, along with the integrated marketing plans needed to grow them, in sectors including technology, telecom, CPG, finance, hospitality, and automotive.

Prior to Ogilvy Consulting, Machtiger held senior strategic leadership and planning roles with JWT, Y&R and Landor. She has also served on public and private boards, including as a board director of Atlantic Whitehall Funds (a unit of Invesco), Movement Mortgage, and was cited by the New York State Assembly for service to her local community.
