From new hires to global office expansions, to new department and service launches, executives at agencies worldwide have plenty to celebrate this Friday. See who’s moving where in this week’s roster updates.

9Rooftops

Patrick McCoy joined 9Rooftops as associate director of social media production. McCoy has over 14 years of experience in the college athletics realm, with focuses in content creation, social media, event management and media relations. In this role, McCoy is already working to plan, develop and publish social media content for The Coca-Cola Company’s Honest Tea and Peace Tea brands, as well as Trinchero Family Estates’ Sutter Home, Joel Gott and Ménage à Trois wine brands.

Acceleration Partners

Integrated partnership agency Acceleration Partners promoted its former managing director of EMEA and APAC, Helen Southgate, to chief global officer. Southgate will use her experience building new clientele and overall traction to attract new global customers and build across new and existing markets.

Battery

Los Angeles-based creative agency Battery, under Havas Creative Group, is expanding to Chicago with the help of Pat Dunneback and Jessie Wang as its inaugural members. Dunneback will serve as group brand director, connecting the agency’s Los Angeles team with its Midwest clients. Wang will work as senior brand manager, managing the relationship between the client team and Battery’s creative, strategy and production teams in California.

Bow & Arrow

Bow & Arrow is expanding its leadership team with newest additions Jamie Corby, Lisa Cousins and Ishaan Sethi. Corby and Cousins will serve as strategy directors, with Corby focusing on growing sustainability, energy, consumer products and retail client partnerships and Cousins focusing on strengthening new ventures with communications, media and technology clients. Sethi is joining as associate product director, and will work to expand leadership and expertise in venture building, go-to-market and sustainability.

Catalyst Marketing Agency

Denver-based creative marketing agency Catalyst hired Carlos Musquez as its executive creative director. Most recently at ELA Advertising in Los Angeles, Musquez has worked with brands like Starbucks, TikTok, Disney and Netflix. He’ll now lead creative culture and direction for Catalyst clients including Microsoft, Adobe and World Kinect.

Crosby

Crosby Marketing Communications hired Cheryl Donaldson as its new vice president of technology project management. With knowledge from 25 years of experience in the industry, Donaldson will oversee the company’s creative team in creating large-scale websites, mobile apps, digital experience and marketing technology solutions for clients.

Dieste Inc.

Multicultural communications agency Dieste recruited Abe Garcia as its new chief creative officer. With experience working at the company since 2015, Garcia will lead top talent recruitment and new business creative efforts alongside Dieste’s leadership team.

Finn Partners

Independent marketing and communications firm Finn Partners is expanding to a new Beijing office under the leadership of senior partner Jason Cao. Experienced in working with brands like Microsoft, LinkedIn, Amazon and Oracle, Cao will focus on driving Finn’s growth in the health, technology and consumer sectors in China.

Godfrey Dadich Partners

Godfrey Dadich Partners welcomed T. Jason Brown in its newly created role of partner, president, New York. Brown is joining 10 current partners at the storytelling, design and strategy firm to direct and manage east coast business operations and outcomes for GDP and its partners—working with clients including Microsoft, Nike and National Geographic.

Hero4Hire Creative

Jane Wu is joining creative studio Hero4Hire as creative director. With 13 years of experience in art direction and animation design, Wu’s work has been featured on Netflix, A+E, AMC, ABC, Disney and more. Her expertise aims to serve the studio’s work in motion design, character animation and mixed media projects.

Horizon Media

U.S. media agency Horizon Media hired Mark Capps as its new vice president, managing partner of business solutions. Previously the strategic account group lead at Merkle, Capps has over 25 years of experience in advertising technology, marketing and media. He will now oversee Horizon Media’s development of key client relationships, and work to grow new agency relationships, strategic leadership and team development.

Incubeta

Digital media group Incubeta is expanding its growth team with a number of promotions and hires. Andrew Turner has been promoted from group commercial director to chief revenue officer, James Sleaford from U.K. managing director of Incubeta DQ&A to chief growth officer and Claire Burgess to director of delivery. New to the company is Charlie Davison, joining as growth consultancy director.

Isobar

Isobar is bringing on Andrew Kasprzycki as its president for the North American region of the U.S. and Canada. Kasprzycki brings with him 25+ years of experience with brands like Airbnb and Twitter, as well as agencies like DDB and Publicis Groupe.

The appointment comes alongside Isobar’s goal to expand its connected experience capabilities in emerging tech, AR/VR and 3D design.

Johannes Leonardo

AMP Awards for Music and Sound named Independent New York agency Johannes Leonardo’s chief creative officer, Julia Neumann, as its chair for 2022. Bringing experience leading creative output for MTN Dew and adidas, Neumann will confirm the show’s category winners and select its best in show honoree.

Johnson & Sekin

Dallas-based branding and advertising agency Johnson & Sekin hired Jamie Berman as director of digital and promoted Jeremy Graham from senior web developer to director of development. With over 20 years of experience in advertising and digital marketing, Berman will lead efforts to amplify the agency’s digital touchpoints across its client portfolio. Graham will oversee the development of motion websites and digital experiences for clients.

KC Truth

KC Truth hired Bret Herzog and Randy Cunningham for director positions at the independent advertising agency. Herzog, previously strategy director at Periscope, is now director of insights and engagement, and will work with vp and director of strategy Mike Cronin across KC Truth’s client portfolio. Cunningham, experienced with clients like UnitedHealth Group, Great Clips and Subway Restaurants, joined as account director. He will manage Cargill, the agency’s largest client, while also assisting the management team in overall business development growth.

Luquire

Sonia Grunbaum is joining Charlotte-based integrated marketing firm Luquire as its senior vice president of business development. Previously at Omnicom Group subsidiary Zimmerman Advertising, Grunbaum has worked with clients like Dunkin’ Donuts, Michaels and McDonald’s. At Luquire, she will lead new business efforts and increase agency visibility.

Milkmoney

Roslyn Barnfield, previously in management and production roles at Nike and Beats by Dr. Dre, has been promoted at Milkmoney from head of production to global managing director. Barnfield will lead operations, new business and collaboration at Milkmoney offices in Europe, Australia and Asia.

MullenLowe

MullenLowe U.S. hired Lu Borges to a newly-created position of head of MullenLowe U.S. brand and communications. Borges will oversee all agency touchpoints, including communications, owned channel content, thought leadership and internal communications, with the goal of driving toward the agency’s next chapter.

ODD

ODD is driving agency growth with two new appointments to the position of executive creative director. Zara Ineson, previously global creative director at Portas, and Angus Mackinnon, most recently group creative director at Publicis-Poke, will work together to lead the agency’s creative department to its next level of innovation and growth.

Ogury

Ogury appointed Geoffrey Martin as its new chief operating officer, aiming to drive company growth and global expansion. Previously general manager and executive vice president of growth portfolio at Criteo, Martin will oversee a broad scope of functions including revenue, operations, product, technology and marketing.

Outfront

Outfront Media Inc. promoted Max Siegelman from director of social media to head of cultural relevance. Siegelman will continue managing Outfront’s social media strategy, and expand his efforts to enable new connections between consumers and brands.

Rapp U.K.

Rapp U.K. promoted Carolyn Stebbings from managing director at Code to chief operating and inclusion officer. The role will focus on managing overall company operations and ensuring diversity, equity and inclusion are at the core of company growth and business strategy.

Starcom

Starcom’s U.K. leadership team welcomed two new members through the promotions of Sophie Barr and Danny Weitzkorn to managing partners. Barr brings three years experience as the business director on the Samsung account, alongside Weitzkorn who has also worked with clients including P&O Ferries, DP World, Karcher and NX&I.

Gerety Awards

The Gerety Awards announced its New York jury appointments for 2022. The jury will work together to choose the agency and production company of the year for its countries, as well as the shortlists for the overall show.

The Social Lights

Social-first, Minneapolis-based agency The Social Lights hired Greg Swan as chief creative and strategy officer, as well as Stephanie Schafer as managing director and chief operating officer. The two industry veterans have a combined 40 years of experience at companies including McCann Worldgroup, Mono and Weber Shandwick.

Tierney

IPG agency Tierney appointed Tracey Santilli as its new president. Santilli has been at Tierney since 2022, rising in rank most recently to chief growth officer and responsible for business wins including Insomnia Cookies and AutoLenders. Santilli was featured in the 2021 40 over 40 list highlights CEOs, CMOs, creatives and brand managers around the world.

UTA

UTA recruited Paul Yoo as its senior vp of ventures, a newly created role aiming to building out the group’s private equity practice with new acquisition and investment opportunities. Before joining UTA, Yoo served as partner at Transom Consulting Group and M&A Services, advised top athletes and celebrities in investments, was the CEO and CMO for Kristen Bell’s social impact company, This Saves Lives, and served as the Head of Business Development for The Honest Company.
